With the upper echelons of the Heavyweight division getting older and arguably not many fights left between them, here we can look ahead as to who might be the next ruler of the heavyweights. The time of Fury, Joshua, Uysk and Wilder may be coming toward an end but that leaves a void for the like of Daniel Dubois, Martin Bakole and Fabio Wardley all believeing that this is there time to dominate the marquee division in boxing. Who could be the next big thing?

As Usyk remains top of the heavyweight tree, with Fury looking to knock him off his perch on Dec 21, many are looking ahead as to who could be the future of the division. There are many viable options, ranging from the young and fearless in Richard Torrez Jr from USA and British-Slovakian Moses Itauma, to the impatient veterans in German Agit Kabayel and Martin Bakole from DR Congo. Throw in names like Jared Anderson, Johnny Fisher and of course IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois there are few characters that will look to make a name for themselves in the years ahead.
