On Nov 15, Netflix made their first entry into the live sports market and was the home of a boxing card for the very first time. This was an unprecedented venture from the streaming giants but one that would put boxing on a global platform, marketing the sport to new fans all over the world.

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano were set to face off for the second time, in a much anticipated rematch of their battle in 2022. Taylor was named victorious by a close split decision victory in Madison Square Garden, New York. This decision was disputed by Team Serrano and many fans, who thought Serrano should have been victorious. After disputes in negotiations and multiple venue changes or fight delays, the rematch was scheduled for November in Texas, setting up one of the biggest women's fights of all time.
